How do I receive artwork once its approved?

Once artwork is approved it will be put into production for printing or web development. Should you require artwork PDF or JPG files will be provided via email or on disc. All artwork remains the property of XDesigns Advertising. No raw layered files will be supplied as they are our intellectual property.

What is the payment procedure?

  • First order: Print & Web design only: 25% deposit with your quote approval and 7 Days for completed work
  • Printing: Strictly COD
  • Subsequent orders: 7 day terms, contact us if you require a credit application form

What type of payment do we accept?

Direct deposit, cheque and credit card - Visa and Mastercard, please note there is a 2% surcharge on credit card payments

How does the logo process work?

Once you have faxed XDesigns Advertising your approved quote to proceed, we will discuss your needs and target market, uses for your logo. We will cover your likes and dislikes and any ideas you may have, before we supply artwork for you approve.

How long does printing take?

Please allow 5-7 working days from date for approval, Unless otherwise quoted.

If I need a logo, how many designs do I get?

You get 3 concepts, each with variations of fonts and/or colour + 2 revisions of artwork. Additional changes can incur our hourly rate as per quote.

What is a Pantone colour?

PMS (Pantone Matching System) is an identical matching system used by designers and offset printers. It ensures the accuracy of colour at 100%. At XDesigns Advertising you are able to come in an look at our PMS book with all available colours, and match them to it's equivalent in CMYK.

What is CMYK?

CMYK or Full Colour is where the colour space is generated by 4 individual colours, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black which makes up millions of colours.
With our logos we supply a colour guide with your colour breakdowns, including CMYK to ensure consistancy for Branding material.

What is RGB?

RGB (Red, Green and Blue) colour space differes slightly to CMYK. RGB is used more for screen viewing and online viewing. Colour can vary when converting a document from CMYK to RGB. and visa versa. Another important point is that RGB files cannot be sent to offset print as it will cause incorrect colour space.

What is the actual size of A5, A4, A3, A2, A1 & A0 paper ?

  • Paper sizes
  • A5 - 148.5mm x 210mm
  • A4 - 210mm x 297mm
  • A3 - 297mm x 420mm (double the size of an A4)
  • A2 - 420mm x 594mm (double the size of an A3)
  • A1 - 594mm x 840mm (double the size of an A2)
  • A0 - 840mm x 1,188mm (double the size of an A1)

What type of websites do you build?

We build all types of websites, from basic to CMS (Content Management System), e-commerce with built in customer database and email marketing.

Do I need to keep coming back to you to make changes to my website?

This will be decided in our inital consulatation, as we provide a packages to suit all businesses. If you have opted for XDesigns Advertising CMS (Content Management System) - This allows you to create , delete, change, add any content and images to your website. You will need to come back to us only if you require additional functionality. If you would like XDesigns Advertising to maintain your website, we are more than happy to do this for you at our hourly rate.

How long does it take to build a website?

  • We have 5 Steps in building your website:
  • Step 1 Meeting with you and analyse your website functionality and design requirement, we present you with a quote.
  • Step 2 Once you we have your approval, logo, images and home page concept content we begin to design
  • Step 3 Approved design development
  • Step 4 Design/formating additional pages required
  • Step 5 Launch the website and provide training to allow you to manage your own site

How many times can Website design be changed?

You can make 2 changes to the design in the design process. Being honest and prompt with feedback to eliminate the project being dragged on over a long period of time. However if you decide you want to change the design once it's been signed off and developement has begun, you may incur additional charges at hour hourly rate for revisions as quoted.

What if I want to add more functionality to my website at a later date?

No problem. What we like to do initially is plan for the future making it really easy to add the required applications as your business online grows.
